It’s been a long journey to get to where I am today…
After graduating college from San Jose State in 2009, I left on a whirlwind of adventures and jobs. From working as a freelance photojournalist, USA Swimming Coach, competitive barista, to a stint with the San Jose Sharks, and with Specialized Bicycle Components.
I graduated from National University with my M.Ed and Preliminary Multiple Subjects Credential in 2020. I spent 2 years at a private school in Sunnyvale teaching 5th grade. In 2020 I was asked to join the team at Roseville City School District, where I joined the staff in opening Riego Creek Elementary. Here I’ve taught 4th, 3rd, and 2nd grades. I’m also our site’s Leader in Education Technology, where I’m able to help and lead the school on all things Edtech.
Outside of education, I love being in the mountains with my family. I love to trail run, garden, and hike.
